day 35 venice ca 63.5 miles 785 feet ave 8.9 tis 7:20 hrs thru santa barbara it has not changed at all lived ther for twenty years

day 36 dana point ca 64 miles 1010 feet ave 8.9 tis 7:19 hrs big city riding is strange got to keep eyes on road there is alot to distrack one

    Boy, are you eating up the miles, and judging by your self-pictures, some of the road has stuck to your ribs! Now…..you’ve passed through the area where I lived and worked: Dana Point/Capistrano Beach/San Clemente. And it looks like you caught San Onofre’s answer to Dolly Parton! Used to surf just over the train tracks from that nuc plant along with spots like Old Man’s and Tressles. Some of the best surfing in the south beach area. I lived in Capo Beach just above PCH, so I’m sure you pedaled by my old digs. You’re doing a great job, and I sure enjoy your posts. Pedal safe, and watch out for the US Marines practicing at Pendelton. BTW…..I think you navel is a tad south of the belt line!
